Trust the Process – Finding a Miracle in St. John’s

By Living Room Realty, November 8, 2018

The initial stages of starting one’s home search can be daunting, especially if it’s your first time experiencing the process. From the very beginning, thousands of questions can be running through your head: What is an HOA? Is a special assessment as fun as it sounds? What the hell is wrong with the carpet?

Through it all, it is a process that requires patience, attention to detail, and determination – and after months of scouring the market, we were able to find the perfect home. If I were to tell you that there was a condominium on the market that boasted hardwood floors, granite counter tops, no pending litigation with low HOA dues, and a breathtaking view of the St. John’s bridge — you would have told me I’m crazy. We saw our opportunity and proceeded to write our first offer, which turned out to be the only offer we would have to write!

Throughout the stress of writing our first offer, reviewing disclosures and inspection reports, and negotiating repairs, we survived the process. We secured not just the home, but the appliances and a generous credit to facilitate his transition into his first home.  In the end, Josh couldn’t have been a better client. He was never hesitant to ask questions, paid extraordinary attention to detail, and was willing to remain positive in the hardest times. I can’t express how grateful I am to have represented him, and I’m so excited to follow his journey following this entire process. Congratulations, Josh!!
