Yes, Jess and Jeff (after a bit of on and off again searching over the past few years and more than a few rejected offers!) finally landed their first dream home! But the big news in this neck of the woods is not the wonderful, mid-century modern ranch home in Cedar Hills with gorgeous vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling white stone fireplace, banana yellow mid-century cone fireplace, and a lush, private back yard oasis.
The truly big news is that Jess and Jeff were delivered possession of said super cool and sexy mid-century ranch home on the same day that Jess and Jeff also were delivered twin baby girls.
How’s that for a little perspective on the “moving is so hard” spectrum?! And now that we’ve all got the benefit of some beautiful 20/20 hindsight it couldn’t have turned out more perfectly. We say this all the time, but most of the time folks end up with the house they truly need. If your offer isn’t accepted on a house, then it’s not YOUR house. All those frustratingly hard offer rejections in 2016 turned out to be the best thing for Jess and Jeff who ultimately would have not been happy in all those 2016 “must have” homes.
Jess and Jeff and their sweet baby girls are now happily nesting in their perfect 2019 home. And yes the art isn’t hung, and the new wood stair treads didn’t get done but it’s all just perfect. Especially since these REALTOR® ladies got one heck of a baby snuggle fix! Have we mentioned how much we love this job and this perfect crazy life?
