I’m a problem solver. That’s really what most of my job entails.
When my amazing past client learned her friends Ryoko and Luke were starting their home search she put us in touch. Ryoko and Luke were so easy to work with! They knew exactly what they were looking for and were decisive when they found it. But, as I always say, no house is totally perfect. You have to see if the imperfections are things you can work with. Well, the house Ryoko and Luke fell for in the incredible Richmond neighborhood had an issue: these two love to cook but the vent hood in the kitchen was out of reach for petite Ryoko. How was she going to vent cooking smells outside?? It was a consideration.
Enter: a trip to Williams Sonoma. I spent a good 30 minutes wandering around, looking for something that could solve this problem. And there it was! A thin rolling pin that wasn’t too heavy. I popped over the house to test it out (as you can see in the incredibly flattering picture below). Would it reach the vent hood? Yes indeed! Problem SOLVED.
Yesterday these sweet clients got the keys to their new home. It’s walking distance to so many hot restaurants, but when they want to cook at home they’ll be happy in their new kitchen. Congrats, you two! It’s been a pleasure!
