There are wins and then there are WINS.

Buying a house is a pretty huge event for everyone, but sometimes I get to work with folks for whom a home purchase is truly life-altering. Sometimes these are the most arduous and difficult transactions, but the impact of being able to help someone achieve their dreams of home ownership is worth every moment.

I recently worked with my client to help her do just that. After months of searching and having lost out a home previously due to a financing mishap, we were able to finagle the perfect home for her. As a single mom with two young kids, with a budget of under $270k with FHA financing, we had a very narrow margin of homes on the market to look at. At times it seemed impossible. But determination(and not a little luck) won out.

Not only were we able to find her a home in her budget, but her kids were able to stay in their same school district and neighborhood. They can walk to school and play with their friends, all within blocks of their new home. Moving out of their tiny two bedroom apartment into their new 3 bedroom home means the kids can have more room to grow, and mom can have a little more room to breathe.

I have to give major thanks and props to the sellers and their agent. They were with us 100% of the way to make this sale work for everyone. It wasn’t always easy, but it was worth every second to get to hand over the keys and be part of this life-changing journey.
