What to eat this winter

By Constance Rigney, December 12, 2019

While now I spend my days connecting clients with their future homes, my background is in Chinese medicine! Health and wellness is still very important to me, and as winter has definitely set in here in Portland, today I’m sharing the best foods to eat during this chilly and dark season:

• Soups and stews – especially with rich stocks and bone broths
• Root vegetables, squashes, winter greens, mushrooms
• Apples, pears, citrus fruit
• Beans
• Miso and seaweed
• Garlic, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamon
• Nuts – especially walnuts!

Happy winter eating!
