Blog Buyer WORTH THE WAIT

WORTH THE WAIT

By Living Room Realty, November 13, 2020

Making an offer and losing can be a disappointing experience, but sometimes the right home comes only after doing exactly that.  Deirdre started looking for a house in August and her goal was to be in a new home by the end of October.  We made 2 offers that she didn’t get and then number three — the one with the view of Mt Hood– was accepted.  We thought we found the one, but during the inspections, she realized that there was too much work to be done and decided to terminate.  Meanwhile, since February I had been watching the renovation of a tiny 600 square foot house in my neighborhood that doubled in size and gained vaulted ceilings.  The sign went up the day that we terminated on the view house, I contacted the agent and was able to get her offer accepted the next day.  The one-level layout was perfect,  four skylights enhanced the light throughout the house and the yard is a blank canvas.   There was no looking back, and she is more than thrilled to have ended up with this house as her new home.  Congratulations!
