Kim Hamblin’s Installation opens as part of Last Thursday
October 31st from 6-8pm at Living Room Realty’s NE Alberta Office.

 

A beautifully unique blend of paper cutting, painting, and mixed media, Kim Hamblin’s art is termed cut paper assemblage. The therapeutic process consists of cutting the paper to the desired shape, then painting, layering, glueing, pressing, and finally founding them to plywood with tiny nails, repeating the process for each piece of paper. Once the piece is assembled, a clear coat goes on top, followed by a frame. Kim’s art is influenced by her collection of old books, nature, and life, with images relating to the sciences of anatomy, botany, entomology, and zoology.

Robin Wilson’s Installation opens as part of Last Thursday, July 25th from 6-8pm at Living Room Realty’s NE Alberta Office.

Having grown up with art supplies in her hand, Robin Wilson found a sense of peace and calmness from creating art. Her beautiful work is done mostly freehand, using wood panels, acrylic paint, Micon pens, and resin. With each calming breath, Robin lets her thoughts wander as she draws one long stroke at a time, until the piece comes to life.

Join us Thursday April 25th from 6PM – 8PM for an artist reception. 

Ron Bunch is a Portland painter and collage artist. His show at Living Room is a collection of recent landscape paintings from actual locales and memory. His “remembered” landscapes are based on memories of growing up in Central Oregon and reference his life-long connection to place and experience. Bunch’s installation opens as part of Last Thursday, April 25th from 6 PM – 8 PM at the Alberta Office.
