Last month, I celebrated seven years as a licensed real estate agent. Wow.
I’m truly grateful to be serving others with intention, enjoying the grind and the growth, and making new friends along the way. What more could one ask for?
If you know me, you know I prioritize quality over quantity. And I really dig the intricate logistics and complex emotions of the real estate process. To all of my clients, friends and colleagues: thank you for making the past 7 years an absolute joy.
If you don’t know me well, I thought it might be time for a refresher about who I am and how I approach this work.
I’m a firm believer in the significance of our places and spaces. Our homes are the center of our lives, and the good things we can do in our communities begin there. This work is deeply meaningful to me.
The choice to become a real estate broker was a joyful combination of two very different careers. I was a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and practiced land-use law and title & escrow law for several years in the early 2000s. After moving to Portland in 2008, I served as a program manager and fundraiser for Portland-based non-profits Friends of Trees, The Freshwater Trust and Ecotrust.
I’ve been a real estate agent at Living Room Realty, the #1 brokerage in the Portland metro region, since 2017. Twice I’ve been recognized as a quarterly top 5 producing agent at the brokerage. I obtained my principal broker’s license in 2022, the most advanced real estate license one can hold, and completed the national Accredited Buyers Representative designation class in 2024.
This is my full-time job and my sole focus.
I take continuing education classes monthly, and stay current on all new developments in our local market and industry. I truly love the breadth of challenges each day brings in serving my clients and working on diverse properties across the Portland metro region.
Simply put, I’m a passionate advocate and I thrive when helping others succeed. As a real estate agent, my singular focus is to help my clients achieve their real estate goals efficiently and effectively. This is how I define success, and it’s the intention I set every day.
If I’m not scouting homes and helping clients, you can find me taking photos, digging in my garden in SE Portland’s beautiful Richmond neighborhood, cycling, skiiing, experimenting in the kitchen, and exploring the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest with my amazing wife Sarah.
I look forward to the next 7 years of providing exceptional, personal and professional service with trust, integrity and joy. Reach out to say hello, and let me know how you or someone you know might benefit from a longer conversation together. I look forward to connecting with you!
